…Food has always been at the heart of our story.

We met working at Epcot Center in Florida, we moved back to the UK in 1990.

From 1997, we went on to open 3 restaurants and an event company across England and Wales — working side by side,
in the kitchen and out front.

Now we are bringing that same passion to this much-loved local cafe deli, taking over from Kate and Rob, who we’ve known for over 30 years since they started out at our very first restaurant in Parkgate, Wirral.

Our daughter Lauren is part of the journey too, as a silent partner, cheering us on from Boston, USA,
where she works overseeing luxury event venues.

We can’t wait to keep this space buzzing — offering the best British cheeses and charcuterie, alongside carefully chosen European artisan products, and getting to know our new and old customers along the way.
